Bologna today confirmed that Deian Boldor’s loan spell at Montreal has been cut short, with the defender subsequently moving to Hellas Verona on loan.

The Romanian defender will stay at Verona for the remainder of the season, and the club have got an option to buy him at the end of the stay. Bologna will have an option to buy him back if Verona are to buy him.

The defender is yet to get his breakthrough in Bologna, and this move therefore makes sense for him. Verona were in the need for a defender, and Boldor fit the bill for them. It will be interesting to see how he does there, and if Verona utilize their option to acquire him.
