By Bologna today released a joint statement with the city council in which they underlined their ambitions to push forward with plans to modernise Renato Dall’Ara.
The club has been working on this project for a couple of months, as it has been one of Joey Saputo’s ambitions to modernize the stadium. The statement also said that the economic-financial plan must be analysed.
All that now remains are for Bologna to come to an agreement with all the relevant parties that are involved in the process.
This is great news for the entire organization, as the stadium is outdated, and a modernisation can therefore bring more revenue to the club. More revenue will make the club more attractive, thus enabling them to grow into a bigger club in the long run.
Fingers crossed that the process moves rapidly.
