It was today confirmed that Orji Okwonkwo goes out on loan to Brescia for the remainder of the season. He has seen his opportunities been limited this season, and although impressing when called upon, for him to go down to Serie B seems like a smart choice.

The young Nigerian has come on to score in three games this season, but given the amount of senior player in front of him, to loan him out was the best choice for his development. Now he’ll get to ply his trade at Brescia in Serie B.

The loan includes an option to buy, as well as a buy-back clause for Bologna.

Best of luck to Orji for the second half of the season.
